There is beauty in everything in the world around us. Take a glimpse down an alley in a historic town, and you can see beautiful plants and architecture. Stop in any garden, and the variety of form and color in the flowers, the endless wonder of the birds, and the dramatic fur patterns of the wildlife provide so many choices to paint. I enjoy selecting a subject and capturing all the fleeting details so that people can stop and notice something they might otherwise have missed while rushing about in their busy lives.
Painting in both acrylic and watercolor, I choose the medium, size, and format depending on the subject matter and the impression I want to create. My paintings are meant to inspire people to take time to see the beauty in even the smallest things.
